tour-flow keeps your team informed with in-app notifications and email digests.
In-App Notifications
The notification bell in the header shows your unread notification count. Click it to see recent notifications.
Notification Types
| Type | Triggered When |
|---|---|
| Tour Updates | Tour details are modified |
| Event Changes | Event schedule, venue, or status changes |
| Card Assignments | You're assigned to a project card |
| Comments | Someone comments on a card you're involved with |
| System | Announcements and platform updates |
Managing Notifications
- Click a notification to navigate to the relevant item
- Mark individual notifications as read
- Mark all as read with one click
Email Digests
Instead of receiving an email for every notification, tour-flow batches them into configurable digests.
Digest Frequency
Choose how often you receive email digests:
| Frequency | Description |
|---|---|
| Every 2 hours | Frequent updates for active tours |
| Every 4 hours | Balanced frequency |
| Every 6 hours | Less frequent, still timely |
| Daily | Once-a-day summary |
| Off | No email digests |
Configuring Preferences
- Go to your Profile settings
- Navigate to Notification Preferences
- Choose your digest frequency
- Select which notification types you want to receive
Notification Preferences by Type
You can enable or disable email notifications for each type independently:
- Tour and event updates
- Project card assignments and comments
- System announcements
This lets you get email alerts for urgent items (like event changes) while keeping less critical notifications (like card comments) in-app only.
