Templates & Libraries
Manage reusable schedule and production templates for tours and events.
Templates & Libraries
Templates help you reuse proven schedules and production setups instead of rebuilding them for every tour or event.
Global Libraries
The Templates page contains your reusable libraries:
| Library | What it stores |
|---|---|
| Schedule templates | Timeline items such as load-in, soundcheck, doors, show, and curfew |
| Production templates | Production sheet cards and field values |
| Checklist templates | Reusable task lists for repeatable workflows |
Some workspaces may also see additional library tabs when enabled for their plan.
Schedule Templates
Schedule templates store ordered schedule items. Use them for common day structures such as:
- Club show
- Festival day
- Rehearsal day
- Travel day
- Press day
You can save a schedule from an event or day, load it into another event or day, rename templates, set defaults, export CSV, and import from CSV.
Production Templates
Production templates store reusable production sheet cards. Use them for standard requirements such as:
- Sound
- Lighting
- Backline
- Stage
- Power
- Hospitality
- Venue restrictions
Production templates can be loaded into events, edited centrally, duplicated, exported as CSV, and imported from CSV.
CSV Import and Export
Template libraries include CSV helpers for bulk work:
- Download a blank CSV
- Download an example CSV
- Download the CSV guide
- Export existing templates
- Import edited CSV files back into tour-flow
For production templates, use the icon reference CSV when you need consistent card icons.
Saving Templates from Work
When a schedule or production sheet is working well, save it as a template from the source event or day. Give it a clear name and description so your team can find it later.
Defaults
Default templates are useful when your team has one standard setup that should be easy to load. Defaults do not replace event-specific data automatically; they are starting points that you choose when building a day.
Template vs Tour Inheritance
Templates and tour inheritance solve different problems:
| Tool | Best for |
|---|---|
| Global template | Reusing a schedule or production setup across many tours |
| Tour template | Defining the default crew, production, notes, hotels, and schedules for events on one tour |
| Propagation | Pushing updated tour-level templates to existing events on that tour |
Use global templates for repeatable formats. Use tour templates for the specific defaults of one tour.
